I got Castle Crashers because I'm a good newgrounder and though "Hey lots go play toms fun game that I can't pay on my PC so I have to go play on my xbox I never ever ever ever use". Someone I played it... then played Braid.... then half a dozen games later I find myself in a Halo3 matchmaking system yelling at the game because random nades keep hitting me from WHO knows where that weren't even aimmed at me.

It isn't your fault.
X-box has images of their other games flash across the screen rely fucking fast every milisecond, you don't see it with your eyes but your brain does and it makes you want it.
It's a clasic addcampaign that was originaly used for movie snackbars.
This is why I usually only use Nintendo crap...
